Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and consistent product quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment and contribute to the creation of precision plastic parts used across various industries. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines, ensuring optimal performance throughout production runs Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on injection molding equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and press brake machines Handle materials safely using proper materials handling techniques and operate forklifts when necessary Assist with fabrication, assembly, and secondary operations Maintain accurate documentation of production data, quality checks, and machine logs Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying areas for process improvement and waste reduction Experience Prior experience operating plastics injection molding machines in a manufacturing environment is a must Familiarity with plastics injection molding, and quality inspection techniques Ability to use basic math skills for measurements and calculations during setup and inspection tasks Warehouse experience or materials handling skills including forklift operation are advantageous Proven ability to work safely with plastics materials and machinery while adhering to safety protocols Join us in a dynamic environment where your skills will directly impact the production of innovative plastic solutions. Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
