About Century Industries Century Industries is an Oklahoma-based steel processing, tool and die, and plastics manufacturing company in the middle of rapid expansion. What You'll Do As the Injection Molding Technician/Supervisor, you will oversee daily injection molding production while performing hands-on mold setup, processing, and troubleshooting. You will serve as the primary liaison between production leadership and the molding team to maintain efficient machine utilization, minimize scrap, and ensure safe, consistent manufacturing operations. This is more than a machining role. Perform mold changes on injection molding presses ranging from 85 to 2,800 tons Set up, process, and troubleshoot molds to consistently achieve the highest quality molded products Monitor molding processes and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and product quality Lead and support molding operators through daily production Plan and coordinate production schedules; schedule machines and operators for optimal workflow Supervise material handling, resin mixture preparation, and regrind operations Oversee packaging of molded products to ensure quality and accuracy Create setup sheets for new tooling; revise setup sheets for existing molds Develop inspection sheets when documentation is unavailable Perform first article inspections and final product quality checks Drive scrap reduction, waste management, and continuous process improvement Operate forklift and other shop equipment as needed Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with safety and 5S standards Ensure compliance with all PPE requirements and company safety procedures Communicate production status, issues, and shift handoff information to leadership Identify opportunities to improve workflow, quality, safety, and overall production efficiency What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED 3+ years of experience in injection molding operations Experience performing mold changes and machine setup Demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot injection molding machines Strong understanding of molding processes and quality standards Preferred Qualifications Prior lead or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with high-tonnage injection molding presses Experience creating and maintaining mold setup documentation Knowledge of scrap reduction and process improvement techniques Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and machine operations Ability to perform mold setups, mold changes, and process adjustments Understanding of material handling and plastic resin processing Ability to read and interpret technical documents, setup sheets, and inspection requirements Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Quality control awareness and inspection capability Ability to coordinate production schedules and team assignments Strong leadership and communication skills; demonstrates ownership of production results Works effectively with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams Promotes safe operations and maintains a respectful, productive work environment Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during production shifts Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials and molded parts Exposure to industrial production environments including machinery, noise, and material dust Required use of
