Lead Mitigation Technician (Water / Fire / Mold) RestoPros of Tulsa - Tulsa, OK Job Overview RestoPros of Tulsa, Tulsa's trusted Water, Fire, Smoke, and Mold Mitigation company, is seeking an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician to oversee mitigation projects and lead field crews. This is a hands-on leadership role for a motivated professional who takes ownership of jobs, leads by example, and delivers quality work during critical times for our customers. As the Lead Mitigation Technician, you will serve as the on-site leader responsible for directing technicians, executing mitigation scopes, maintaining safety and quality standards, and communicating with homeowners and insurance partners. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise mitigation projects involving water damage, fire and smoke damage, and mold remediation Serve as the on-site decision maker for job execution, workflow, and task assignments Coordinate daily crew activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards Perform and oversee moisture mapping, inspections, and damage assessments using industry-standard tools and equipment Operate and oversee the use of restoration equipment, including drying equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and cleaning tools Ensure proper containment, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards Train, coach, and mentor technicians on proper mitigation techniques, equipment use, and PPE requirements Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, insurance adjusters, and internal staff regarding job progress and expectations Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily logs, photos, equipment usage, and safety reports Ensure vehicles, equipment, and job sites are kept clean, organized, and job-ready at all times Uphold RestoPros' standards for quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in the restoration industry , with hands-on mitigation experience (water, fire/smoke, mold) Prior experience leading or supervising mitigation crews preferred Strong working knowledge of drying principles, mold remediation, and fire restoration techniques Ability to confidently operate hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment Familiarity with industry cleaning agents, chemicals, and safety protocols Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work in physically demanding environments and wear PPE as required Valid driver's license and ability to pass background screening Preferred (but not required): IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT) Prior experience coordinating with insurance carriers Schedule & Pay Full-time position On-call rotation required (industry standard) Overtime and bonus opportunities available Why Work at RestoPros of Tulsa Fast paced, fun environment Steady, year-round work with a growing local company Supportive leadership that values technicians and quality work Opportunities for advancement and professional development Ongoing training in industry best practices and certifications Be part of a team that takes pride in helping people during difficult situations Apply Today If you're an experienced mitigation professional ready to take the lead, manage jobs with confidence, and be part of a company that values integrity and teamwork, we want to hear from you.
