Job Description
Join us at rose plastic! Our company is regarded as the world's No. 1 supplier of high-quality hard plastic packaging for the tooling, consumer DIY and medical industries. As a medium-sized, third-generation owner and managed company, we develop and produce high quality plastic sleeves, boxes and cases. In this position you will be expected to perform the following duties: Set up molds, perform mold and accessory device changeovers, and troubleshoot Blow and Injection mold machines Manufacture and maintain quality parts Make minor changes to process to ensure equipment functions safely and that accurate cycle times and quality standards are achieved with minimal raw material loss Assist other personnel to set up, operate, and correct any assigned equipment Sample new material to ensure it meets quality specifications Assist other personnel to set up, operate, and correct any assigned equipment Observe specific parts of equipment and materials in process to determine or analyze the cause of machine malfunctions and/or poor part quality. Repair and/or make any necessary minor adjustments to equipment to obtain desired operating results. Prepare all paperwork & forms associated with setup and operation Daily maintenance of area machines
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required Possess Blow and/or Injection Mold machine set up experience preferred but not required Mechanical background preferred Production experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong communication, listening, and organizational skills Must possess math skills such as adding, multiplying, dividing, and converting fractions and percentages Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as possess attention to detail Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical drawings, technical procedures, or quality instructionPHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS
Possess large motor skills to climb a ladder, bend, twist, and lift boxes and molds which have a weight range of approximately 10 to 60 pounds, and lift at shoulder level Must have visual acuity for part defects and color variations as well as identify items by shape, color, and design Must have fine dexterity skills to insert screw and bolts and perform minor routine preventative maintenance on machines Ability to use a respirator in the event of burning PVC needs removed from a machineWORK ENVIRONMENT
