Job Description

Class 2 Core Machine Operator As a Class 2 Core Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring core making machines used in molding or casting metal or thermoplastic parts. Your duties include positioning patterns, assembling mold sections, and ensuring proper operation of equipment. You may also operate a forklift—once certified—to transport materials and finished products. All tasks must be performed with a strong commitment to safety and responsibility. Department Manufacturing - Foundry Employment Type Full Time Location Columbia, PA - Plant Workplace type Onsite Compensation $21.79 / hour Reporting To Darrin Steadman How You Will Help Position patterns, inside mold sections and clamp sections together. Set up, operates, or trends metal or plastic molding, casting, or core making machine to mold or cast metal or thermoplastic parts or products. May Operate forklift. Upon obtaining certification, operate forklift to transport waste and product. Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner What You Will Bring Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Must be able to discern imperfections, understand quality of repairs of iron holders / ladles. Must be able to understand basic addition to tally units per training. Must be able to learn job duties and locations from verbal instructions. Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned. Employee must be able to obtain a tow motor license and successfully pass LOTO and confined space training. ASC Engineered Solutions is an equal opportunity employer. Compensation:
$23.50 per hour, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential for second and third shifts. Health benefits On-site nurse 401k and Paid Holidays after 90 days.
