Set-Up Technician

Viking Plastics in Corry, PA is looking for an experienced Set-Up Technician to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

: include but are not limited to the following: Control plan adherence Baseline process adherence Parts capturing improvements Setup and changeover time reduction

ISO/TS 16949

adherence Proper line clearance per approved Work Instruction Communication of equipment and output problems to shift supervisors Efficiency/QOS improvements (more good parts/hour) Cleanliness and organizational improvements Safety

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

: Two years' experience in the setup of molds in plastic injection molding machines Knowledge of basic hand tools and measuring instruments Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills in both verbal and written form Have reliable transportation and communication means

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, walk, push, pull, climb Good sight and hearing required Must be able to work in hot and cold environment Employee is regularly exposed to a manufacturing environment and elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and chemicals.
