We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Water & Mold Restoration Technician to oversee and perform restoration projects involving water damage, mold remediation, fire damage, and other related services. This role involves responding to residential and commercial properties affected by water damage or mold conditions and leading cleanup, mitigation, and remediation services from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restoration industry practices, including the use of hand tools and power tools, and possess leadership qualities to guide a team through complex remediation tasks. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within the restoration industry, ensuring properties are safely and effectively restored to their original condition. Duties Lead water mitigation and mold remediation projects Operate hand tools and power tools to remove affected materials according to scope specifications Set drying and air filtration equipment, adhering to all safety protocols Build and maintain proper containment and negative air systems Document completion of daily tasks through photographs, videos, and daily logs Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace and company vehicle Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report mechanical issues promptly Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Communicate clearly with clients and office staff regarding job progress Requirements Strong, proven experience in water damage restoration and mold remediation Ability to run jobs independently without daily supervision Experience leading or supervising a helper Competency using electronic devices and the ability to take clear jobsite photos Solid understanding of equipment setup, containment, and dry-out processes Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Professional communication and accountability IICRC certifications preferred (WRT, ASD, AMRT)
