Role:
Express is seeking a Junior Process Technician for a growing manufacturing facility in Portersville, PA. This position plays a key role in keeping production running efficiently by assisting with machine setups, mold changes, troubleshooting equipment, and performing preventative maintenance throughout the shift. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assist with mold setups and changeovers to keep production moving Help maintain injection molding machines and support equipment Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs as needed Conduct preventative maintenance on molds and machinery Support machine startups after downtime, color changes, or tooling swaps Monitor machine performance and adjust processes to maintain efficiency Move molds and equipment using cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment Track maintenance and repairs using internal systems Work alongside production and maintenance teams to identify and solve recurring issues Help improve machine uptime, efficiency, and product quality Step in to support lead technicians when necessary
What We're Looking For:
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Ability to identify problems and help find long-term solutions Experience with rigging, forklifts, or overhead cranes is a plus Manufacturing or injection molding experience preferred Familiarity with support equipment like chillers, temperature controls, or robotics is helpful Comfortable using computers for documentation and communication
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED 5+ years of maintenance, machine setup, or processing experience in manufacturing preferred Experience in injection molding is a strong plus Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs is beneficial
Shift:
12-Hour 2-2-3 Schedule 7:00AM-7:00PM or 7:00PM-7:00AM (you will stay on the same shift, not rotating) Why Apply?
