HOBE Mill Operator

Hexcel is currently seeking a HOBE Mill Operator for our Pottsville, PA, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: The HOBE operator is responsible for processing material within the HOBE department. Read and follow written, and verbal work instructions. Responsible for maintaining acceptable productivity rates and accuracy requirements. Responsible for machine setup, tools and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality product. Run the expander, belting, and HOBE Mill. Work as a team to complete HOBE trimming, expanding, hand routing, bonding, special process work, trimming of product and pre-packing. Identify the "L" and the W" of expanded honeycomb and determine cell count and ribbon direction. Ensures inventory accuracy associated with the product group. Record transactions in the RF Smart system and maintain accurate inventory levels. Other duties as assigned by Supervision.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required. Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing. Must have a Forklift Certification or be able to obtain the forklift certification. Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational skills. Possess good hand dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Basic computer skills - WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, required.
