Full Job Description Furnace Operator Location:
Providence, RI Job Type:
Full-Time Schedule:
2nd Shift 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM We are seeking an Furnace Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring industrial furnaces used in the heat treatment of metal products. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor multiple annealing furnaces Follow production procedures and work instructions Load and unload materials safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform basic equipment checks and report issues Follow all safety and quality standards
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Experience with industrial furnaces or heat-treating equipment is a plus, but training is available #
