Job Description

Position Summary:
Mold Tech - Responsible for maintaining all injection molds and molding processes, troubleshooting all production issues and requests, completing mold PM's and making work cell change overs as needed including molds and all associated equipment for the work cell.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to clean, inspect and maintain mold tooling, ensuring all mold PM 's are completed in a timely manner. Utilize engineering disciplines to troubleshoot shop floor activities and improve shop floor throughput to reduce costs Works together with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Production Teams on job related functions Communicates unforeseen issues with Mold Engineering for discussion and resolution. Assists with improvements to existing systems, Processes machinery, and equipment to support manufacturing functions and operations. Good understanding of TPM and can assist operators. Review process documentation for accuracy. Assists Process Engineer as needed to create or modify BTO Work Instructions. Works on continuous improvement and cost reduction projects as assigned. Good knowledge of how to read and analysis PLV for troubleshooting. Aids Molding Engineers on assigned projects Will interact with all levels of management and must be able to communicate effectively May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description Must be able to utilize fork truck and overhead crane Manage raw material drying and conveying systems.
Qualifications:
5 years' experience in Injection Molding Processing Preferred Must be able to operate a Forklift Good computer skills Good communication skills and able to work in a team environment Excellent knowledge of manufacturing parts and processes
Work Environment/Work Conditions:
Primarily On the manufacturing plant floor. Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor Temperature and noise may vary depending on external environmental conditions Lack of attention and carelessness may result in personal injury to self or others
Pay:
From $27.97 per hour
