Hire Position Description:
Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Maintenance Technician / Mold Cleaner in Greenville, SC. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on facility equipment to ensure optimal operation. Responsibilities include completing work orders, rebuilding pumps and valves, conducting safety protocols, and documenting work using preventative maintenance schedules. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive ownership attitude. This position requires physical activity including lifting, ladder work, and operating machinery, all within a safety-focused environment.
Key responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment following detailed instructions Rebuild and maintain pumps, valves, and pneumatic/electrical components Conduct facility rounds using checklists to monitor performance and identify issues Document work and parts using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Communicate effectively with operational leadership regarding work status and parts needs Follow all safety regulations including OSHA protocols and PPE requirements Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support continuous improvement initiatives
Top Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent preferred; or relevant experience and training 2+ years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, or carpentry Valid driver's license, fork truck, and JLG lift operating licenses preferred Ability to read and understand maintenance instructions and operate machinery safely Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA guidelines About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm; we are a trusted career partner.
