BACKGROUND FOR POSITION
At Vanguard Soap, we manufacture high-quality soap and personal care products for leading consumer brands across North America. Our success depends on producing safe, high-quality products while maintaining an efficient and reliable manufacturing operation. The Mixer Operator plays a critical role in the production process by accurately weighing, batching, blending, and processing raw materials according to established formulas and production schedules. This position is responsible for ensuring product quality, supporting production efficiency, maintaining accurate documentation, and operating equipment safely within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Ensure Product Quality Accurately identify, stage, weigh, and batch raw materials according to approved formulas and batch sheets. Verify materials, quantities, and specifications prior to processing. Monitor blending, mixing, and plodding operations to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Perform in-process quality checks and make process adjustments as needed. Maintain accurate production, quality, and inventory documentation. Immediately communicate quality concerns, product deviations, or equipment issues to leadership. 2. Achieve Production Schedule Operate mixers, blenders, plodders, and related processing equipment efficiently and safely. Monitor equipment performance throughout production runs. Support timely completion of production schedules and work orders. Perform product changeovers and line purges according to established procedures. Return unused raw materials to inventory before beginning new production orders. Minimize downtime by identifying and resolving routine operating issues. 3. Maintain Safe Operations Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions. Consistently wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when required. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, lift trucks, and other material handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Participate in safety training and actively contribute to a culture of safety. 4. Drive Operational Excellence Complete all required production, inventory, downtime, and quality records accurately and on time. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction. Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and housekeeping standards throughout the mixing area. KEY CAPABILITIES

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Manufacturing, production, processing, batching, blending, machine operation, or related industrial experience. Ability to read and follow written instructions, production schedules, and batch sheets. Basic math skills, including weighing, measuring, and converting quantities. Ability to work safely and effectively in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in soap, personal care, cosmetics, household products, chemical processing, food manufacturing, or related industries. Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience. Experience operating mixing, blending, batching, or processing equipment. Mechanical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working with production documentation and inventory transactions. MACHINES & EQUIPMENT OPERATED

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout a 12-hour shift. Frequent lifting of up to 30 pounds. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Ability to work around fragrances, chemicals, manufacturing equipment, and varying production conditions. Ability to wear required PPE throughout the shift. Pay:
