Candidates must have verifiable experience operating die cast machines. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining die casting machines to produce high-quality metal components efficiently and safely. Hours and pay negotiable based on specific circumstances and experience. Candidate must have extensive verifiable die casting experience. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor zinc die casting machines to produce metal parts according to specifications. Perform routine inspections of molds, dies, and casting equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adjust machine parameters and tooling to maintain quality standards and improve efficiency. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper handling of machinery and materials. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with die casting equipment, and coordinate repairs when necessary. Assist with tooling setup, changeovers, and calibration for various machines. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating die casting machines and related manufacturing equipment. Skilled in milling machines, lathes a bonus. Familiarity with quality inspection procedures focused on ensuring parts meet specifications through visual checks and measurement verification.
