Applied Metallurgical Corp. is seeking an coremaking technician to join our team in Gilmer, TX. We are a start-up completed components manufacturer. We cast and machine components for multiple industrial segments from medical devices to aftermarket automotive equipment. Responsibilities:

This position requires hands on mechanical type skills High attention to detail to hand pack sand core boxes calibration of mixing equipment Forklift certification or equivalency ability to lift 50-75 lbs. on occasion some light sanding and paint to finish cores to kit for the molding department good communication skills basic math skills required for calibration processes
