Onsite Responsibilities Operate and monitor furnaces to maintain safe and efficient production processes Charge and clean furnaces using various tools and equipment Drain, transfer, or remove molten metal and pour it into molds Collect metal samples for analysis and perform quality inspections Regulate furnace temperature and adjust fuel and air supplies Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and bobcats Inspect equipment and work area, perform maintenance and safety checks Record production data and maintain logs accurately Perform manual lifting, packaging, labeling, and sorting as needed Report any defective materials or unsafe conditions to supervision Execute procedures and maintain a clean work environment Comply with all safety regulations and company policies Requirements High School diploma or GED preferred At least three years of foundry or production environment experience Valid Driver License and forklift certification or ability to become certified Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in extreme heat conditions Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills Good verbal and written communication skills System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
