Special Skills:
mathematical aptitude, troubleshooting, able to read blueprints and use measuring tapes.
JOB DUTIES
  • Slits Jumbo rolls of PTFE tape to desired widths.
  • Works from verbal and written instructions, locates raw materials required, sets-up slitting blades and take-up tensions following standard operating procedures.
  • Uses gauges, calipers and micrometers to accurately measure materials.
  • Reports any discrepancies to supervisor so that only quality products are produced.
  • Ensures assigned equipment is maintained in good operating conditions, aisles and work areas are clean and free of safety hazards.
  • Maintains daily production reports and quality records.
  • Performs any other assigned duty as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Accredited High School diploma or equivalent required
