Onsite The Product Technician II•Rubber Molding role is responsible for supporting day-to-day production operations within the Rubber Molding department. This role is an integral part of a high-performing production team and is expected to operate molding equipment, follow standard work, and ensure product quality through effective inspection and defect detection. This position requires a strong commitment to safe work practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement, while contributing to a collaborative and respectful team environment.
What You'll Do:
Operate rubber molding equipment and related production machinery in accordance with established standard work and safety procedures Set up, monitor, and adjust molding processes to ensure optimal product quality and efficiency Identify, detect, and respond to product defects using visual inspection and measurement tools, ensuring only conforming product moves forward Follow standardized work instructions to maintain consistency, repeatability, and product integrity Perform production activities including molding, trimming, assembly, and packaging as needed Support and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and reporting of hazards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards) Participate in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives Accurately complete production documentation and quality checks Collaborate with team members, leads, and support functions to meet production and quality goals Your Role in Our Values At Enpro, our values of Safety, Excellence, and Respect guide how we work, collaborate, and grow. What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 1+ years of manufacturing or production experience Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Experience in rubber molding or similar manufacturing processes Experience with quality inspection and defect identification Familiarity with standard work, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement principles
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 35lbs Frequent use of hands for operating machinery and handling materials Ability to lift, push, or move materials as required Visual acuity to inspect product quality and detect defects
