Job Description
Must have previous experience as a mold technician 2nd shift and 3rd shift available.
Responsibilities include:
Setting up molds in the machines Starting and adjusting injection molding equipment Monitoring machine performance and product quality Troubleshooting defects such as cracks, bubbles, or warped parts Performing mold changes and basic maintenance Measuring parts to ensure they meet specifications Following safety and production procedures Common skills employers look for: Mechanical aptitude Attention to detail Ability to use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) Troubleshooting skills Experience with plastics manufacturing Ability to lift heavy molds or materials in some facilities Work environment: Manufacturing plants or warehouses Fast-paced production setting May involve heat, noise, and standing for long periods Average pay inTexas:
Entry level: around $16- 20/hr Experienced technicians: $22
