Job Description

  • Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Molding Technician for our Medical Device partner in Salt Lake City, UT.
  • The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $19.00 and $24.00 per hour. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

  • Position Overview
  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Molding Technician to join a growing medical device manufacturing team.
In this role, you will operate and monitor injection molding equipment used to produce high-quality plastic components for advanced medical devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.   • Key Responsibilities
  • + Operate injection molding machines to manufacture plastic components according to production specifications.
+ Monitor molding processes to ensure consistent quality and efficient production output. + Inspect molded components for defects and verify compliance with established quality standards. + Identify and report production issues, defects, or equipment concerns to supervisors. + Perform de-flashing, trimming, and finishing of molded parts as required. + Utilize hand tools and basic power tools for production tasks, minor adjustments, and routine maintenance activities. + Follow technical work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and safety protocols. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. + Participate in cross-training opportunities and support additional manufacturing operations as needed. + Accurately document production activities and quality inspections.
  • Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications
  • + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
+ Ability to read and comprehend technical work instructions and safety procedures. + Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes. + Ability to use basic hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, and cordless drills. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Willingness to learn new skills and participate in on-the-job cross-training.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • + Minimum of 1 year of injection molding and/or manufacturing experience. + Experience working in a production, assembly, plastics, or medical device manufacturing environment. + Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and manufacturing best practices.
  • Physical Requirements
  • + Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. + Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for machine operation, part inspection, and tool usage. + Ability to stand, move, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Pay Details:
  • $19.
