Key Responsibilities:

Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary. Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments. Set up, operate, or tend plastic molding machines to mold thermoplastic parts or products. Make adjustment to molding machines to regulate pressure, temperature, and speed and feed rates, and to set cycle times. Remove finished or cured products from dies or molds, using hand tools, air hoses, and other equipment, stamping identifying information on products when necessary. Trim excess material from parts, using knives, and grind scrap plastic for reuse. Mix and measure compounds, or weigh premixed compounds, and dump them into machine tubs, cavities, or molds. Unload finished products from conveyor belts, transport them, and store in warehouses. Connect water hoses to cooling systems of dies, using hand tools. Obtain and move specified patterns to workstations, manually or using hoists, and secure patterns to machines, using wrenches. Smooth and clean inner surfaces of molds, using brushes, scrapers, air hoses, or grinding wheels.

Qualifications:

Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior manufacturing, warehousing or industrial experience required. Demonstrated stable work history preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require frequent bending, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees should be able to perform this duty with or without reasonable accommodations.

Schedule Requirements:

Must be able to work the required scheduled hours from 8:30AM-5:30PM M-F. Must be available for overtime as production needs require with occasional Saturday's.

Pay Details:

$18.00 per hour
