7:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Load Builder / Furnace Operator for a company in Elkhorn, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Load Builder / Furnace Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Assemble loads of metal products to run through the heat
- treating induction ovens
- Follow written load instructions
- Place metal parts into baskets according to written instructions.
- Gather metal parts that are needed for each load
- Document work finished on work instructions
- Material handling
- Issue batch cards Load Builder /
Furnace Operator Requirements:
- Must have some industrial experience
- Must be able to read/write and understand English work instructions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with a team member
- Must be able to stand for entire shift
- Must be able to bend, reach, and stoop as needed throughout the day
- Must be able to grasp and grip metal parts in various sizes
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
