In this vital role, you will operate mixing and processing equipment, ensuring that recipes are executed precisely and safety standards are upheld. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and commitment to sanitation will contribute to a clean, efficient, and safe manufacturing environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced food industry operation dedicated to excellence and innovation. Duties Operate mixing machines, blenders, and other food processing equipment to produce consistent product batches according to specified recipes and standards Measure ingredients accurately using basic math skills to ensure proper proportions for each batch Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and work areas in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines Assist in food preparation tasks such as portioning, ingredient handling, and assembly to support overall production flow Conduct routine inspections of machinery for mechanical issues, performing basic troubleshooting or notifying maintenance staff as needed Follow strict food safety protocols during handling, processing, and packaging to prevent contamination Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely when moving ingredients or finished products within the facility Skills Proven experience in food production, manufacturing, or restaurant kitchen environments with strong culinary skills including baking, cooking, and knife techniques Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and CGMP to ensure compliance throughout all processes Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for recipe adjustments and measurements Ability to read and communicate in English Familiarity with sanitation procedures and food handling best practices in a high-volume setting Previous experience with food industry equipment like mixers, blenders, or similar machinery is preferred Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely is a plus Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating delicious products while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
