At our modern facility, we specialize in building complex plastic injection molds. Our team of experienced designers and highly skilled toolmakers produce tight-tolerance molds while staying focused on quality and the customer.
Key Responsibilities Setup and Operation:
Set up, operate, and maintain CNC turning machines.
Tooling Selection:
Select, align, and install cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts using precision tools like micrometer, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure compliance with tolerances.
Machine Monitoring:
Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions, adjust speeds, and change tool settings to ensure efficient production.
Safety & Maintenance:
Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
Required Qualifications and Skills Experience:
Previous experience as a machinist
Programming Knowledge:
Fusion 360 experience a plus, will train right individual
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of metal properties, machining processes (turning, drilling, threading), and CNC programming.
Tools:
Proficient with precision measuring instruments.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, mathematical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Education:
High school diploma or GED; technical school degree is preferred
Pay:
$20.00 - $32.00 per hour
