11pm-7am QPS Employment Group is hiring a Molding Process Technician for a company in Waterford, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Molding Process Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Follow daily production schedules and assigned priority rankings Perform accurate setup of injection molds, end-of-arm tooling, robots, grinders, and related equipment Troubleshoot molding machines and adjust processes to bring parts into specification for size, appearance, flash, splay, cycle time, and quality Process a variety of materials, including but not limited to ABS, PC, PP, and Noryl Measure and visually inspect molded products for surface and dimensional defects using precision measuring instruments Enter production data into the ERP system, including machine downtime, scrap, and maintenance information Initiate and submit maintenance work orders for equipment and molds as needed Contribute daily toward achieving departmental efficiency targets and minimizing scrap rates Verify presses are running at standard cycle times and report any variances Maintain organization, cleanliness, and a safe work environment at all times Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities related to molds, presses, changeovers, and processes Communicate issues and concerns to the supervisor promptly as they arise Complete all assigned reports and required documentation accurately and on time

Molding Process Technician Requirements:

3-5 years of injection mold setting experience 1-2 years of material handling experience 3-5 years of process startup experience 3-5 years of process troubleshooting experience Strong interpersonal, decision-making, time management, and basic math skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Effective communication skills with colleagues, associates, and management Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Basic computer proficiency, along with solid math and reading comprehension skills Ability to work safely on a production floor
