Job Description

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced maintenance and safety professionals, gaining exposure to equipment, processes, and programs that keep operations running safely and efficiently. This is more than just observing—you'll play an active role in improving workplace safety and supporting maintenance operations.
What You'll Do:
Assist with developing and updating Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to improve workplace safety Participate in risk assessments and help identify opportunities to reduce hazards Create and implement visual PPE and safety signage throughout the shop floor Support safety initiatives that protect employees and strengthen compliance Conduct safety walkthroughs and help document findings and improvements Assist with maintenance scheduling and coordination of preventive maintenance activities Support preventive maintenance programs by tracking tasks and updating records Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and safety teams on improvement projects Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and problem-solving discussions Do You Have?.. An interest in manufacturing, maintenance, or workplace safety A hands-on mindset and curiosity about how things work Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Good communication skills and willingness to learn from others Ability to work both independently and as part of a team A proactive attitude and eagerness to take on new challenges
