Job Description

Implement mandatory process standards on plant level. Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, line efficiency, and line balancing of headcount. Define work instructions, routings and define or determine standard time. Analyze customer forecast trends and line utilization, balance line capacity utilization. Ensure defined rework and scrap level. Study production and machine requirements and upgrade systems with new technology. Develop and test effective automated and manual systems and design and install equipment. Work out specification, support purchasing process for equipment from technical site. Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance. Integrate disparate systems (e.g. equipment handling, transport). Participate in Plant Daily Action and lead Daily Action of ME team. Contribute to regional standardization for ME processes. Prepare and submit annual Lessons Learned & best practice. Ensure manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations. Participate in project meetings to represent plant / ME. Set up project reports as required by ONE PEP. Act as interface to line suppliers, prepare technical specifications for supplier selection for new assembly lines and equipment. Plan and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs and maximize quality.
