12-Month Contract Controls Specialist•Manufacturing Quality & Process Auditing We are seeking a Controls Specialist to support manufacturing quality and process conformity initiatives within a large automotive assembly environment. This role focuses on auditing manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with operational standards, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving corrective actions across plant operations. What You'll Do Conduct manufacturing process audits to ensure compliance with corporate and regional standards. Monitor alignment between standard work methods and plant quality audit execution. Identify training gaps and coordinate auditor training activities. Maintain and update process audit checklists. Track audit findings and corrective action plans. Support quality improvement initiatives and containment activities. Analyze quality metrics and identify trends. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and leadership teams. Assist with deployment of process standards, guidelines, and quality requirements. Develop and maintain audit schedules to ensure ongoing compliance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Experience conducting audits in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of quality systems, process controls, and manufacturing operations. Ability to read and interpret quality performance indicators. Project management and problem-solving experience. Preferred Qualifications Engineering or Technical Degree. Manufacturing or Quality experience. Supervisory experience. Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes including: Body-in-White (BIW) Paint General Assembly Plastics Familiarity with MQGR, MQAS, CPG, CPA, Torque, and QMS standards. Why Apply?
