Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the continuous operation of our production equipment. In this role, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and contributing to the improvement of our manufacturing processes. Your expertise in mechanics, electrical systems, and PLCs will be essential to our success. Responsibilities Execute reactive and preventative maintenance on semi-automated assembly equipment, including pneumatics, vibratory bowls, turntables, PLCs, and robotics, to minimize downtime. Analyze operating practices and record-keeping systems to support the creation and improvement of processes and procedures. Provide technical support to other departments, addressing requests and inquiries promptly to facilitate smooth operations. Adhere to safety standards and report any safety concerns immediately to maintain a safe working environment. Apply Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques to identify opportunities for productivity enhancement. Ensure compliance with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures when performing maintenance on equipment. Participate in new machine design reviews and prototype development, offering technical insights. Qualifications Required Skills High School diploma or GED. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Knowledge of PLC systems and their application in automated equipment. Preferred Skills Vocational/Technical training in a related field. Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques. Strong cross-functional communication skills.
