Job Description

Press Calibration & Maintenance Specialist | Advanced Manufacturing Overview Join a highly respected manufacturing organization where reliability, precision, and performance are at the core of operations. This role is critical to ensuring stamping equipment runs at peak efficiency while driving improvements in safety, uptime, and overall production quality. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll serve as a technical expert focused on the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of stamping press systems across multiple facilities. Perform annual calibration and inspection of stamping presses to ensure optimal performance and compliance Evaluate equipment condition and provide detailed reporting to leadership and maintenance teams Identify inefficiencies such as air/oil leaks and recommend corrective actions Assess and improve safety conditions of press equipment and operations Drive improvements that enhance equipment reliability, uptime, and production quality Recommend and implement monitoring solutions to reduce unplanned downtime Audit preventative maintenance programs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completion Provide technical leadership during major equipment failures, including repair planning and execution Support capital equipment initiatives, including the evaluation and installation of new stamping presses Partner with maintenance teams to elevate technical knowledge and best practices across operations Contribute to cost reduction initiatives while improving overall equipment performance Support digital transformation initiatives, including Industry 4.0 integration across manufacturing systems What We're Looking For We're seeking a hands-on professional with deep technical knowledge of stamping systems and a passion for continuous improvement. Strong experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and servo-driven stamping presses Background in press maintenance, calibration, and inspection processes Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and operational issues Experience with stamping peripherals (feed systems, straighteners, de-reelers, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communicator who can work across teams, vendors, and leadership Comfortable working in industrial manufacturing environments Willingness to travel as needed to support operations and training initiatives Why This Opportunity Stands Out High-impact role influencing multiple manufacturing operations Opportunity to work with advanced equipment and evolving technologies Strong visibility with leadership and cross-functional teams Play a key role in improving uptime, safety, and operational excellence Be part of a team driving innovation and modernization in manufacturing
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per hour
