Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. The Role T1 Energy is looking to hire a Process Technician I supports daily manufacturing operations by monitoring equipment and process conditions, performing routine inspections, identifying abnormalities, and assisting with troubleshooting activities. This role is responsible for following standard work, supporting quality and safety compliance, and contributing to a clean, organized, and stable manufacturing environment. Process Technician I is expected to develop a foundational understanding of process flow, defect awareness, Lean manufacturing principles, and basic continuous improvement practices. What You'll Do Conduct daily equipment and process inspections to ensure normal operation and promptly report abnormalities. Support manufacturing processes by following standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process standards. Assist in troubleshooting basic equipment or process issues under the guidance of senior technicians, engineers, or supervisors. Accurately complete production, quality, and maintenance-related records. Collect process and quality data as required and support data entry into MES or other tracking systems. Support line changeovers, process checks, and routine operational verification activities. Participate in process incident reviews and communicate abnormalities or recurring issues to leadership. Maintain assigned work areas in accordance with 5S and workplace organization standards. Support the development and sustainment of standardized work practices. Participate in basic continuous improvement activities and support implementation of process changes. Follow all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements, including proper PPE and safe work practices. Assist in training support activities as assigned. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management. Who You Are Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts , including: 5S waste identification standard work Ability to recognize process abnormalities and escalate appropriately. Basic awareness of quality checkpoints, process controls, and defect prevention. Willingness to learn troubleshooting, root cause thinking, and continuous improvement methods Qualifications Technical diploma, certificate, or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, or industrial production environments. Ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic computer systems. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
