Keep workflow steady, elevate standards, and turn data into action. What You Will Do Own shift execution: monitor departmental flow, enforce safety and standardized work, and remove roadblocks fast.
Meet ship dates:
identify delays, investigate causes, and correct course to protect customer commitments.
Optimize labor:
align staffing to plan and management strategy.
Run the numbers:
complete reports, enter data into the manufacturing system, and analyze production records for trends.
Lead people:
set expectations, coach, mentor, evaluate performance, and handle discipline/termination per policy.
Keep equipment ready:
coordinate maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
Improve continuously:
collaborate with Operations, Process Engineering, Equipment & Controls, and Project Management to industrialize new tools, processes, documentation, and training.
Partner across shifts:
communicate status and support other teams.
Champion quality:
uphold standards, run root-cause investigations, and track corrective actions.
Support the business:
assist with budget development and maintain electronic records.
Care for the workplace:
sustain 5S-level cleanliness and follow environmental, health, and safety procedures.
Model CelLink culture:
integrity, teamwork, self-discipline, professional competence. Schedule, Location, and Environment Weekend night shifts (5:45 PM to 6:00 AM) on a 4/3 AWS Shift Schedule. Desk/office located on the manufacturing floor. Business needs may require AWS, extended shifts, weekends, and extra hours; travel to CelLink sites, vendors, or customers may occur. Exposure to high noise, moving mechanical parts, nuisance dust, and common industrial chemicals; PPE provided and required where applicable.
Physical demands:
frequent floor presence; prolonged standing/walking; bending and varied positions; lift up to 35 lbs solo or 50 lbs with assistance; visual abilities to read, operate equipment safely, and inspect materials.
PPE:
safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, clean-room frocks; ear plugs recommended in high-noise areas per OSHA. What You Bring High school diploma or GED (associate or bachelor's preferred). Experience in manufacturing with 3+ years supervising production teams in high-volume operations. Clear communicator; strong written/oral skills and excellent organization. Detail-oriented, results-focused problem solver; able to balance strategic, business, and competing priorities. Proven change leadership. Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency. Professional judgment, tact, and diplomacy with internal and external customers; self-motivated and flexible. Background in selecting and developing team members; support for process development and equipment maintenance.
Plus:
familiarity with 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma.
Proficiencies:
supervisory experience, GMP, machine setups for production runs, and time in a manufacturing environment.
Tools and tech:
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
