Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Planning and Scheduling - I to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating production activities, ensuring optimal use of resources, and maintaining seamless operations across the plant. Your proactive approach will help drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance supply chain efficiency, and uphold quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in production management while contributing to the success of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer demands, inventory levels, and capacity constraints using ERP systems such as SAP and other Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, quality control, and engineering to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products. Monitor production progress daily, identify bottlenecks or delays, and implement corrective actions promptly to meet delivery deadlines. Analyze supply chain data and manufacturing metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Support plant management by providing accurate production forecasts, inventory updates, and capacity planning insights. Assist in implementing continuous improvement strategies focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and quality enhancement. Maintain comprehensive documentation of production plans, schedules, and related records to ensure transparency and compliance with quality standards. Experience Proven experience in production management or manufacturing operations within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar enterprise resource planning platforms; experience with MRP is highly desirable. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including logistics, inventory control, and demand planning. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or Kaizen. Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing processes is advantageous for understanding operational workflows. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to supply chain analytics and production metrics. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
