Job Description
Job description Role and Responsibilities Evaluate all operational processes (from Order Entry to Manufacturing to Shipping) and determine best practices for each process. Document best practices into written work instructions so that all personnel can be properly trained on the processes they are to perform. Identify safety risks throughout each operational process and include means to mitigate these risks in the written work instructions for each process. Maintain the Quality Management System and serve as its Management Representative. Assist in the troubleshooting of manufacturing defects to help identify a solution to prevent future similar defects. Assist in the procurement of new equipment and determine best layout of equipment to optimize production and ease of product flow. Assist with ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations. Perform other duties as required Qualifications and Education Requirements A bachelor's degree in Engineering is required (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Technology is preferred). 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Preferred Skills A strong mechanical aptitude Practical knowledge of various manufacturing processes Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Proficient with Microsoft Excel Benefits Centrifugal Castings, Inc. is an Employee-Owned company.
