Lear has been operating in Serbia since 2016, offering a wide range of products and demonstrating strong expertise in electrical distribution and global comfort systems. With our 2 main sites in Novi Sad (E-systems) and Indjija (global comfort systems) we are employing more than 4500 diverse and talented team members. From 2023 company I.G.Bauerhin GmbH (IGB automotive), global supplier of thermal comfort systems, continues to work as a part of Lear Corporation. We are working on 3 sites in Inđija, Lazarevac and Lajkovac. Position Overview
Due to increasing automatization and new projects, we are looking for an Engineering and Launch Specialist to join our manufacturing plant in Indjija, producing seat heaters, steering wheel heaters, seat occupancy sensors, electronics and wire-harnesses. Key Duties and Responsibilities Proposing and defining training and retraining programs for operators and supervisors from a manufacturing process perspective
Proposing corrective actions to improve production processes
Monitoring production and implementing necessary measures to reduce non-conforming parts, increase productivity, and improve working conditions
Verifying tools and machine programs prior to the start of serial production
Participating in projects from the planning phase through serial production
Communicating with R D colleagues regarding tool and program development and modifications
Active participation in tool design and manufacturing
Participating in the validation and implementation of new machines and equipment
Participating in the creation of PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
Participating in the creation of CP (Control Plan) and PFC (Production Flow Chart)
Producing pilot series (PPAP samples) in accordance with valid CP and FC
Updating internal databases with the current status of pilot series parts
Reporting missing raw materials to ensure timely ordering
Using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
Using MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
Participating in testing of development projects in the electronics and fan production sectors Key Skills and Qualifications University degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
Previous manufacturing experience in similar roles
Experience in automation-related roles is an strong advantage Very good knowledge of English and Serbian languages
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Experience with CAD software
Nice to have: experience with PLC and/or LabVIEW programming
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
High motivation for learning and continuous professional development
