We are seeking a skilled and motivated Utility Operator to join our team. A general Utility Operator is an entry level position for an aggregate mining processing operation. The employee must be capable of performing the job requirements as well as being trained to operate all equipment utilized for aggregate mine.
Essential Job Duties:
Under this position the employee must be capable and willing to learn how to operate all mobile and support equipment as well as understanding, inspecting, and maintaining the stationary processing plant. This includes performing the pre/post operation checks and servicing. Employee will be required perform a workplace examination prior to beginning of his/her shift and correct or report any potential risks identified. The employee will be required to do minor maintenance on stationary equipment and assist maintenance and electrical personnel as required and/or assigned. The employee will do other work as directed the Supervisor. The employee is expected to fill out Daily Worklist for the maintenance team and communicate the priorities. The employee will work in a safe and orderly manner following all company, state and federal rules and regulations.
Requirements:
Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills Proficiency in operating equipment such as pumps, valves, and motors Ability to analyze data Aggregate experience is a plus
