Job Title:
Plant Operator Job Description Join a dynamic clean energy company at the forefront of revolutionizing iron ore purification through innovative electrochemical processes. As a Plant Operator, you will play a key role in monitoring and running chemical processing equipment to safely produce metal materials in a fast-growing startup environment. Responsibilities Control process variables to ensure efficient plant operations. Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting on industrial machinery. Document production data accurately and maintain records. Coordinate with maintenance and safety teams for smooth operations. Safely execute Lockout Tagout Protocol as required. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years' experience operating a plant with liquids or chemicals. Proficiency in Lockout Tagout protocol. Comfortable working around chemicals and in a start-up environment. Experience with SCADA or DCS systems for higher-end pay rates. Additional Skills & Qualifications Detail-oriented with a 'Safety First' mindset. Ability to handle plant optimization and equipment operation. Understanding of process safety management and wastewater handling. Why Work Here? Work Environment Training will initially take place at the Boulder facility, transitioning to the new facility in Broomfield. Day shifts in Boulder are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, while Broomfield shifts are expected to be 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, rotating every month between nights and days. The climate-controlled environment requires wearing a lab coat, hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Westminster, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
