Equipment Operator

Overview Join our family owned team as an Equipment Operator (street sweeper) and become a vital part of our construction and infrastructure projects for the state of Connecticut. Your mechanical expertise and experience will drive project success, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Responsibilities Operate a street sweeper safely and efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance; perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols and construction procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance logs, and operational reports to support project documentation. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues swiftly. Valid DOT Med card (or can obtain one). Familiarity with farm machinery and tanker operations is a plus. Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation in construction environments.
