Columbus Quarry, LLC is looking for an experienced Plant Operator for our plant located in Fortson, GA. This position runs and maintains rock crushing, screening, and washing machinery to produce aggregate materials. Role and Responsibilities Safely and efficiently run the fixed machinery used to extract, crush, screen, and wash raw materials like gravel and stone Perform pre-shift equipment checks, lubricate machinery, replace worn parts (like screen media or crusher teeth) and adjust settings to meet product size specifications Perform general housekeeping, such as clearing debris from catwalks and walk-ways, to maintain a safe working environment Strictly adhere to MSHA regulations and Company safety policies/procedures Record daily production tonnage, mechanical downtime, and material counts Other duties as requested We Are An Equal Opportunity Employer Comprehensive Benefits Package to

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications and Requirements 1 - 3 years of industrial or heavy equipment experience, ideally in an open-pit mining, cement, or aggregate processing environment Ability to perform heavy manual labor in all weather conditions, lifting heavy objects and work at elevated heights Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs Technology minded Ability to communicate well and work with others well Ability to work overtime and on weekends as required
