Plant Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Plant Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Savannah, GA. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, warehouse, production, or industrial experience who enjoy working in an active plant environment and take pride in safe, accurate, and efficient work. As a Plant Operator, you will support daily plant operations by loading liquid products, filling customer orders, operating equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting with light maintenance tasks. This position offers steady weekday hours, competitive pay, forklift training and certification if needed, and the potential to transition into a permanent role. • Load liquid products into tanker trucks using hoses, pumps, and related equipment.
• Fill totes, drums, and pails accurately according to customer order requirements.
• Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the plant, with training and certification provided if needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe plant areas, equipment zones, and workspaces.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, including replacing hoses and assisting with PVC piping.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures in a manufacturing environment. Compensation and Benefits

• Pay:

  $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
• Current posted pay: $28.00 per hour.
• Job type: Temp-to-hire.

• Duration:

  1-year contract with potential for permanent hire.

• Location:

  Savannah, GA.

• Schedule:

  Monday through Friday.
• 1st

Shift:

7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

• 2nd

Shift:

3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

• Forklift training and certification provided if needed.
