Job Title:
Batch Plant Operator Job Summary:
The Batch Plant Operator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the batch plant, including the mixing and production of materials. This role requires a strong understanding of batch processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols to ensure efficient and safe production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and Control Operations :
Oversee the batching process, ensuring that materials are mixed according to specifications and production schedules.
Equipment Maintenance :
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on batching equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Quality Assurance :
Conduct quality checks on materials and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Documentation :
Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch quantities, material usage, and equipment performance.
Safety Compliance :
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Collaboration :
Work closely with other team members and departments to optimize production processes and resolve any operational issues. . Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Must have good communication skills Must pay attention to detail and demonstrate independent reasoning and judgment. Must have the ability to work in and contribute to production improvement, associate involvement and temporary teams as assigned. Physical Demands and Work Environment Will be exposed to plant production development, indoors and outdoors Exposed to elements cold, heat and humidity Regularly required walking, twisting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, bending and moving about the yard/facility. Must be able to lift 50lbs May handle potentially hazardous equipment and materials Occasional testing of equipment Work well alone Must exhibit flexibility, good attitude and dependability
