Position Summary:
Oversees monitors and coordinates Production Team Members activities and ensure best practices are being followed throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities :
Motivates and ensures his/her team is meeting departmental goals and objectives, including maintaining high quality, safety, and productivity standards. Build strong relationships with other department leaders and associates. Interact with other supervisors to establish maximum utilization of resources and to improve efficiencies. Implement processes that improve key performance indicators (i.e., quality, safety, cycle time). Provide feedback to Plant Supervisor and Business Manager on ways to increase the efficiencies and effectiveness of the production process. Arranges and coordinates safety meetings to ensure safety standards are understood and met. Operate machinery when needed
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma required. Previous experience leading others Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Ability to lift moderately heavy objects up to 30 pounds. Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards. Demonstrated customer service, people, leadership, and organization skills with track record of achieving positive business results. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
