Job Description
Wilson's Ready Mix & Precast is seeking a Batch Plant / Precast Manager to manage daily operations at our ready-mix concrete plant in Webb City, Missouri. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for concrete batching, coordinating deliveries, maintaining plant equipment, and supervising plant personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations. We are looking for someone dependable with strong mechanical aptitude and strong team leadership skills. Experience in concrete production or ready-mix operations is a plus, however, we are willing to train the right individual with prior strong team leadership/management skills. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the ready-mix batch plant and precast operations Coordinate with and oversee the outside sales position Coordinate concrete deliveries with dispatch, drivers and outside sales Supervise plant personnel and ensure safe work practices Maintain plant equipment and schedule repairs and preventative maintenance Manage inventory of cement, aggregates, and admixtures Ensure mixes meet project specifications and quality standards Communicate with contractors and customers as needed Qualifications Experience in ready mix concrete or precast production preferred Ability to operate or learn batch plant software and controls Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Ability to work early mornings and extended hours during peak construction season Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health Insurance Simple IRA Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Full-time, long-term opportunity with a growing local company
