What You'll Actually Be Doing Every day is hands-on, physical, and different. You'll be: Refurbishing used grease containers (grinding, painting, welding) Washing trucks, hoses, and equipment (yes, it gets messy) Assisting with preventative maintenance on pumps and systems Offloading trucks and processing incoming material Operating a forklift to move containers and equipment Tracking and organizing inventory Cleaning and maintaining the plant and yard Offloading and cleaning tractor trailer loads Interacting with third-party drivers during unloads Processing wastewater and assisting with sampling/testing What It Takes to Succeed Proven experience doing real manual labor Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions—no exceptions Ability to lift 75+ lbs regularly Comfortable being on your feet all day Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights Experience using hand tools, power tools, and pressure washers is required Strong attention to detail and ability to make independent decisions Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision Work Environment (Read This Twice) This is 100% NOT a desk job You will work outdoors in all weather conditions You will be around used cooking oil and grease trap waste It smells—and it sticks If that bothers you, this job will not work out.
