Responsibilities:

Oversees the monitoring, inspection, and control of all power production, auxiliary and facility equipment to ensure safe, legal, continuous and efficient operation. Ensures that plant emissions and effluents are within limits. Run the facility from the control room through multiple start up and shut down iterations. Takes action necessary to prevent any safety violations, environmental excursions, or production loss. Reports discrepancies in operation and/or conditions in a timely manner Provides general directions to subordinate classifications Assist in the training and development of Operations and Maintenance Staff Relieves Plant Operators, when required, in times of personnel shortage or Emergency Operations Performs hands-on operational maintenance repairs, where necessary, and assists others making repairs to all equipment Generates maintenance work order requests and purchases requisition requests. Assists management in development and monitoring of plant budgets, operating plan, and development of technicians. Prepare and submit required reports Oversee the daily upkeep of necessary plant logs and records Oversees the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program and database Maintain the plant Operations Manuals and assure that operating policies and procedures are kept up-to-date #ENG1
