MULTI SKILLED OPERATOR
San Juan Basin, New Mexico Full-Time Position About the Position Chenault Consulting, Inc. (CCI) is currently seeking qualified Multi Skilled Operators to support oil and gas operations throughout the San Juan Basin. The Multi Skilled Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a field environment. Essential Job Responsibilities Monitor and operate oil and gas production equipment, including separators, compressors, pumping units, tanks, and associated production facilities. Perform daily inspections of well sites, production facilities, compressor stations, and related equipment. Monitor production rates, pressures, temperatures, fluid levels, and equipment performance. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. Collect production data and maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and field documentation. Gauge tanks and monitor inventory levels. Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with supervisors, mechanics, contractors, and service providers. Identify equipment deficiencies and initiate corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with company, client, state, and federal regulations. Respond to alarms, callouts, and operational emergencies as required. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work locations. Perform minor maintenance and repairs on production equipment. Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and company initiatives. Utilize company-issued tablets, computers, and software systems to complete reports and documentation. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum one (1) year of oil and gas production experience preferred. Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Operator, Production Operator, Field Operator, or related position preferred. Knowledge of oil and gas production equipment and facility operations. Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to accurately complete production reports and field documentation. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, landowners, contractors, and coworkers. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours callouts. Physical Requirements Ability to walk, climb, bend, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to work around rotating equipment and production facilities. Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions. Ability to wear required PPE, including FRC clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toe boots. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Additional technical training or oil and gas certifications preferred. Certifications, Licenses & Registrations Valid Driver's License required. Clean driving record preferred. H2S Certification preferred.
