- Electrical to join our Power Plant team in Pecos, Texas. What will you be doing As a Plant Operator
- Electrical, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems within a continuous production or power plant environment. You will work closely with Control Room Operators and maintenance teams to monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing plant operations. As a Plant Operator
- Electrical, you will focus on these responsibilities: Inspect electrical systems of engines and auxiliary equipment to detect faults and implement corrective or preventive actions
Identify and report abnormalities to Control Room Operators in a timely manner
Participate in troubleshooting activities and corrective maintenance during shifts
Perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks as assigned
Maintain accurate operational logs for main and auxiliary equipment
Identify and respond appropriately to alarms, including temperature and pressure deviations
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
Promote a safe, clean, and well-organized plant environment.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 1+ year of experience working with electrical systems in an industrial or power plant environment
Knowledge of electrical control systems in a continuous production or power plant setting
Strong ability to monitor and interpret operational data
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination
Ability to follow established procedures and safety standards
High school diploma
- Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred
