Water Plant Operator Trainee

Summary of Duties:

Operates the water plant and prepares water by chemically treating it for clean safe consumption. Monitors all meters, and controls to ensure that required chemical levels are maintained.

Other job functions include:

Running lab test for analysis, keep pumps and motors in top operating condition by performing preventive checks. Maintain grounds around the plant clean and orderly. Plus, any other job duties as requested by supervisor.

Requirements:

Must be able to work flexible hours/Rotational Shifts Valid TX Drivers' License Good standing employment history

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Experience:

Experience with "D" or "C" license preferred but not required. Candidate will be trained and expected to obtain necessary licenses with a certain time period.
