About Cimarron Midstream Cimarron Midstream provides oil, natural gas, and helium midstream services to producers across North America. We focus on operating, acquiring, and consolidating legacy natural gas midstream assets in conventional basins with high helium concentrations. As a team, we roll up our sleeves and create value through operational efficiency, process optimization, commercial creativity, and financial discipline. Cimarron Midstream is a fully integrated helium production, processing, and marketing company. We currently operate three core gathering & processing systems across the Texas Panhandle (Rock Creek), central Kansas (Peak-Otis & West Wichita), and Chaves County, New Mexico (Roswell).
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for field operations including executing startup, shut down and operating procedures; maintaining pipelines and field equipment; analyzing and adjusting flow streams; performing minor maintenance; generating daily production reports; maintaining communication; monitoring, maintaining and operating safety and fire protection systems, and performing housekeeping duties. Field operators monitor the integrity, and compression flows of our system.
Day-To-Day:
They will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of a gathering system area (including compressor stations) to minimize downtime, provide producers with the lowest possible gathering system pressures and timely response to producer's complaints Daily duties are various including line locating, pigging, pipeline maintenance, compressor maintenance/shutdowns, electrical maintenance and resolving problems in a timely manner. Monitors SCADA to manage natural gas pressures and flowrates Coordinates system shutdowns (new connects, leak repairs, etc.), line pressure maintenance (pigging, balling, drip removal) and lock out/tag out Responsible for starting/stopping compressors, equipment checks, preventive maintenance on engines, and certain repairs to engines and engine compressors Must be willing to follow all company safety policies and procedures including 49 CFR Part 192.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school degree or GED
  • Previous oil and gas experience is generally preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience for Op III
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Must be willing to work overtime and handle callouts. Must currently live, or be willing to relocate, within 35 miles of the reporting location.
  • Able to assume responsibility, perform duties and handle tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Able to work well with others
  • Able to perform independently
  • Mechanical or instrumentation background is helpful, but not required
  • Able to pass all required Process Safety Management (PSM), Department of Transportation (DOT), and facility specific operator certifications
  • Able to make decisions and corrections when problems are detected
  • Mechanical aptitude
