We are currently seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor & Technical Leader to join a fast-paced power generation operation supporting aeroderivative gas turbine units. This role is ideal for professionals with strong operational leadership, technical troubleshooting expertise, and hands-on experience in temporary or emergency power generation environments. The position ensures:
Safe and reliable 24/7 plant operation Compliance with operational and safety standards Technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis Coordination between Operations and Maintenance teams Continuous operational readiness during emergency power scenarios This role combines shift supervision, technical decision-making, and field leadership in a high-performance environment. Key Responsibilities Operations & Plant Supervision Supervise operation of
GE TM2500
units and auxiliary systems Monitor alarms, trips, and abnormal operating conditions Ensure adherence to OEM operating procedures and safety protocols Validate operational logs and shift reports Technical Leadership Lead troubleshooting activities during forced outages and unit trips Perform root cause analysis (RCA) Support maintenance coordination and operational recovery Escalate reliability and safety risks when necessary Safety & Compliance Enforce EHS policies and safe work practices Ensure compliance with fatigue management procedures Support OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and hazard communication standards Maintain safe staffing and operational coverage during all shifts Team Leadership Supervise Control Room Operators and Field Technicians Coordinate communication between operations, mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams Provide technical mentoring and coaching QualificationsEducation Bachelor's Degree in: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Controls / Instrumentation Engineering Or related discipline Experience 10+ years of experience in power generation operations Strong experience with:
GE TM2500 LM2500 LM6000
gas turbines Proven troubleshooting and emergency response experience Experience in temporary or fast-track power projects preferred Multi-OEM experience is a plus (Solar, Siemens Energy, Mitsubishi Power) Certifications & Technical Knowledge Preferred or required experience with:
